Getting set up

  1. 01

    Open the disk image

    Double-click Vitals.dmg in your Downloads folder and drag Vitals into Applications. It is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens without a warning.

    Paste your license key

    Open Vitals and paste the key from your email when it asks. Activation takes a second and happens once.

  3. 03

    Look in the menu bar

    Vitals lives there rather than in the Dock. Click it for the compact view, and choose Open Vitals for the full window.

  4. 04

    Optional: include system processes

    macOS only shows an app your own processes. To include the system's, choose Enable in the status bar and approve Vitals under System Settings → General → Login Items. You can remove it any time.
